Midwest Buddhist Temple of Chicago
On June 19, 2014, Mozawa presented a workshop performance of AWAKENING - a triple collaboration project between Mozawa, Ho Etsu Taiko, and Chicago Harp Quartet - at the Midwest Buddhist Temple of Chicago. This work, celebrating the human spirit, combined contemporary harp music, traditional & contemporary taiko drumming, poetry, and movement portraits. The combination of these elements is the first time this has ever been attempted in the world. Photos and video can be found on Mozawa's Facebook page and website.
